Amie Fidangue recently married the love of her life in Stockton, CA. She chose Dessy Group bridesmaid dresses in gorgeous orange crush and was generous enough to share the beauty of her day with us.

"I knew what I wanted for bridesmaid dresses and when I found Dessy.com that was it! Orange Crush Shautaung silk it was! We ordered the Dessy dresses from local bridal boutiques and used Dessy.com to order the men and ringbearer ties as well as fabric to make the sash on the flower girl dress ring and pillow. I wore the ballet slippers from Dessy to complete my look."

To find your own perfect Dessy Group color coordinated look, visit Dessy.com. There you can view our Pantone Wedding color coordinating tools, create your own wedding website and organize your guest list, budget, vendors and invites using the many wedding planning tools while finding that perfect bridesmaid dress.

Antique Barn Themed Wedding Inspiration

|
This absolutely beautiful wedding captured by Images by Bethany is fairytale gorgeous. Classy and vintage, the reception was held in a big red barn! Bails of hay draped with antique lace and quilts made the seating area one to remember. Dainty umbrellas to shade the sun were available for all of the guests, and that necklace of the bride-I want that necklace! Just lovely. Enjoy and be inspired!

The Alice in Wonderland theme is becoming a popular one for weddings and with creativity like this I can see why. Enjoy the magic!

Elizabeth recently submitted her Dessy bridesmaid real wedding images to Dessy.com to receive her free, and I must say, cool, tote bag.  I immediately fell in love with she and her husband Christopher's Wisconsin wedding. It is chock full of awesome DIY elements and their sunflower and black color scheme is so gorgeous!

Elizabeth told me the story of finding the perfect bridesmaid dresses at Dessy. "Each of my bridesmaids picked out a dress in Sunflower with a black accent and I absolutely love the way it turned out. I felt great knowing that they were each comfortable and looked great in the style of dress they picked out."

And those DIY elements I fell for? She explained "As for the decorating and all of the details, I made most everything. The fabric flowers were our table decorations, as well as what made up each girl's bouquet. I also made the bridesmaids' jewelry. The favors were honey and maple syrup jars which were produced locally by the groom and his father. Our guest book was squares of fabric for the guests to sign, which I will make into a quilt."

This creative duo also customized their wedding treats. Instead of a cake they created their own dessert buffet from two local vendors-Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Cher's Cookie Box. From chocolate dipped pineapple to earl grey cookies, there were only crumbs left by the end of the day.

I want to thank Elizabeth and Christopher for sharing their big day and helping to inspire others. A huge congratulations to you both!

If you have your own Dessy bridesmaid real wedding you'd like to share, please submit your images here and I'll contact you to be highlighted in this blog.  Besides the fame :), you'll also receive a free Dessy tote bag!

This Alice in Wonderland themed wedding is made complete with a hookah bar, dreamy decor and "Eat Me" and "Drink Me" treats. Despite absolutely drooling over all the beauty of the venue, themed touches and colors, I think their dog in the tutu might have come close to stealing the show. Seriously cute.

It's official. I'm addicted to Elizabeth Anne Designs. I can't get enough of her cool and creative wedding inspiration ideas. My favorite this week is this Californian bohemian lovely. The booze-n-berries table is rustic, festive and looks so tasty. The wishing tree for the bride and groom, wood based colorful centerpieces and all of the bursting with vibrant color flowers make for one special scene. May you be inspired!

From talented photographer Jonathan Ong, I bring you this beautiful surprise wedding day! Mark and Amy got married last month and no one knew but their parents. The guests arrived to what they thought was an engagement party. This isn't just any bride either, it's Amy from the fantastic blog Eat Drink Chic. I know, I know, I mentioned her blog yesterday as well. I can't help myself, it's great! The hanging flowers, bright colors, homemade lemonade, and postcard guestbook-all brilliant!

With summer just around the corner I was inspired by this sunny day wedding from Jen Huang Photography. Grapes from the vine, a lovely vineyard backdrop, ice cold beverages from the tub, and the very stylish umbrellas decorating the tables to shade from the sunny day. I can almost feel the heat! I hope you can find some true summer wedding inspiration for your big day. Enjoy!

Real Wedding Inspiration: DIY Goodies!

|
Held at Historic Rugby, TN, this real wedding inspiration was sprinkled with great DIY elements. Photographer Shannon Kelley shared the wedding day story with me.

"The wedding was held in a 100 year old church with the reception outside at a local bed and breakfast. The day started with a DIY bridal suite sign made out of a simple plaque with ribbon. As the groom had just graduated from pharmacy school, they incorporated some pharmacy and apothecary details: bird seed to throw were held in pill bottles with a personalized label and little apothecary jars that made a great ring photo.

The reception was outside and very interactive. The kids had buckets of crayons and crafts to play with on their tables. There was even rock candy in buckets paying homage to the bride's love of Dave Matthews with "sweet like candy to my soul" written on them. Also, instead of a guestbook, each seat had a fun sheet to fill out. This wedding proved that you can have a beautiful and fun wedding without breaking the bank in the details."

Thanks Shannon for sharing this beautiful wedding with all of us!

Today I've brought you some Friday real wedding inspiration to float you into your weekend! I love this wedding because it is full of cute little surprises. Beyond the obvious beauty of the bride, the decor and the venue, they've added a kissing booth with camera to record all the love at their big day. And they've also set up an old fashioned type writer for guests to leave them a love note. The simple and calming colors, the wispy flowers....ah, Love.
