A couple of weeks ago I introduced you to one of The Dessy Group's newest must have accessories-the Pashmina. It is a perfect gift for your bridesmaids, or even to yourself, as they are stylish far beyond your wedding day. Our good friends at GetMarried.com recently produced this fun video to show you many of the different and trendy ways to wear your Pashmina. To choose your favorite color check out the Pashmina selections on Dessy. Yay!
This retro chic bridal shower is one of my favorites! The parasols, paper-wrapped vases, polka-dots and the chocolate and blue color palette are ultra styling. Sophisticated yet fun. Thanks to hostessblog for the truly beautiful inspiration.

The Bride's Cafe has brought us this fantastic DIY photo station. A very cool alternative to the photo booth trend. Having a selection of user friendly, creative cameras each with their different finishes. The Polaroid for the old school point, shoot and voila!, the Holga camera for a vintage, grainy look, a camera with black & white film, fisheye cameras and more. Search Ebay, Craigslist, toy stores, and even your friends closets to find your variety of cameras. And there you have it-a truly unique way to capture your big day!

By far this may be one of the coolest dresses I have seen! From The Dessy Group, it is The Convertible Twist Wrap Dress! Style you can fashion yourself. Your bridesmaids can each fashion the dress to their liking, whether it be short and flirty to long and elegant, strapless, one shouldered, or crisscrossed. They can go from the wedding to the reception with two different styles for each occasion. Needless to say, this dress will be worn long past your wedding day-what a gift to your bridesmaids!

This week is the official National Raise Awareness week for Wish Upon a Wedding, an organization that is making dreams come true. Wish Upon a Wedding is America's first wedding wish granting organization dedicated to giving hope and celebrating the spirit of people with life-threatening illness. It is a non-profit organization that was founded on the concept that no one should ever be denied the chance to marry their soul mate even if they do not have long to live. It was created to celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of these couples by granting their dream wedding wishes.
I cannot say enough about how much I love the mission and vision of this very important organization. The Dessy Group is donating $1000 in Dessy dresses and accessories to help their great cause. You can help by making a contribution, becoming a wish granter, volunteering, adopting a wedding, donating your airline miles, helping them get the word out through your social networking sites and more. Please visit their website to find out more details about the amazing, miraculous work that they do.
Believe it or not, I recently tried macaroons for the first time. I know I know, I was missing out on heaven all these years! Now, as I can't seem to get my full of them, I wanted to share these DIY Macaroon lollipops from Bakerella, which were inspired by My Tartlette. These would be fab treats at your bridal shower or reception. For the complete DIY tutorial follow the great step by step instructions at Bakerella. Yum!
